30!

My loving husband is turing 30 tomorrow, and I think that I am more devastated by it than he is. That just means that I am only a couple of months away from being old too. He had such a good time at the party, I think it was the perfect way to end his twenties. We have been together through our teens, twenties and now I am looking forward to spending my thirties with him.

PARTY!!!!!!!!

So now I finally got the pictures up from the party. We had such a good time. We finally rolled the last person out about 4 am, thats right 4 am. We were all zombies by then. The party was great. We had plenty of food and plenty of alcohol. We had wars with beer pong and lots of loud music with rock band. The cleanup was not so bad, just picking up all of the swamp fog and finding all of the beer cans. We only ended up with one broken kitchen chair and a dent in the living room wall, and Jamies skirt catching of fire, but with all the people that came, in think that is ok. Sunday when we were cleaning up, we found Erics lost snake tangled in the rose bushes and a few piles of pewk on the lawn. Pat had a great time, and I can say for the first time that he actually drank himself into oblivian, and was sick all day Sunday. I just sat and smiled knowing that wasnt me throwing up and feeling like crap. But we were exhausted and the girls didnt get much attention on Sunday due to lack of sleep for mom and dad. I wanted to thank everyone that came, in support of Pats birthday, and for coming for a good time.

Halloween!

Today we went to Gardner Village and took the girls pictures in their costumes. They looked so cute! It was a little bit cold so we had to do it fast. Danica as you can see was a little bit scared of the witch she was sitting next to, but Olivia thought that she was very cool. Olivia loved her costume, she liked to look at herself in the mirror and twirl around because she liked the hoop on her skirt. Danica didnt know what to think about hers. But she loved the flower hat and wouldnt let us take it off till we got home.

Field Trip

On Wednesday we went o Discovery Gateway Museum for Olivias school fieldtrip and we decided to make it a family event. The girls had so much fun. Olivia had a great time, she LOVED the big horse and didnt want to get off of it. Danica was totally in her element running amuck. She was everywhere. It was a good thing that Pat took off of work and came with us because it was a two person job for both of the girls!

Pumkin time!

So today we went over to my mom and dads house to carve pumpkins with the girls. Needless to say, they were'nt really sure about it. First they ddint like to feel of the guts, then they both just wanted to eat the pieces that we cut out. It was definantly a collaborative effort getting them done. It was really interesting to see the different ideas between me, pat, my mom dad. So, from right to left, grandpas, mine ( the oh face), grandmas, then pats. We had a really good time and can't wait to see them lit up tonight!

Baby Time!

I have to just put a little note in here. My best friend is about to embark on the impossible. Becky is almost due with her third baby. THREE!!! I can't believe it. I am so excited for her and cant wait to meet baby Anna. I know that things get a little tuff on her and especially after the baby, it gets really tuff, but she knows that I will be there for her in every way that I can, and that I love her. Beck, I am on count down with you only 38 days and counting, OMG!

My Girls...

I have to tell you about my girls. Pat and I are joke that Olivia got all of the good in us and that Danica got all of the bad. They are so different from each other. Olivia is so good natured and easy going and Danica is well, Danica. She is difficult and obstinant in every way. She cries, wines, throughs fits like would not beleive. But then she is smiley and funny and always makes you smile. We are so blessed to have them both, and so lucky to have someone for Olivia to play with bully and love. I know that Danica will always take care of Olivia, and that is why god decided to givbe her to us. Pat and I are blessed in so many ways, not only to have each other, but to have two beautiful girls that were meant to be in our lives.

Lagoon Day!

We had Lagoon Day with Pats work, and so we loaded up the whole family and went. we took my mom and dad so that when the girls were done, they could take them home and pat and I could stay and enjoy the big kids rides. The girls absolutly LOVED it. Danica thought it was the coolest thing. We hit all of the kids rides. Olivia went on all of them and liked them all, and Danica went on most of them. There were a few that went a little to fast for her and she was holding on to sister dear life. They both made it from about 10 am to 2 pm then Danica crashed. We had such a good day! Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed themselves also. I think that grandpa would have stayed longer and rode some the big rides, but his job was to take care of the kids, so maybe next time granpa.

Bath Time!

So, this is bath time at our house. Pat gives them the bath, then I am supposed to get them dressed and ready for the night. But tonight, Pat decided to blow dry their hair. Danicas hair looks like she stuck her finger in the wall socket and Olivia doesnt have much hair to stick up anyways. I did yet at him because I knew that I would never get Danicas hair to lay down in the morning to get ready for the day, so i told him that I would call him home to get her ready. He promptly wet the brush down and made her presentable.

Fun at the Circus

So, we went to the circus with my mom and dad and had a blast. Danica was totally in awe for about the first 45 min. then it got kind of old for her. Olivia thought that the elephants were very cool. We had a great time, but it seemed like they didnt bring out the animas until the second half of the show and by then the kids were kranky and ready to go home, so it was hard to keep their attention. We had a great time and cant wait to go next year.
