Let me tell you about our trip to see Santa Claus. We have never taken the girls to see him before. We have a friend that always dresses as one at a Christmas party, but other than that, Olivia has never really seen him. I saw that Santa at the mall and thought that he looked pretty good. So after our Christmas pictures on our way out Pat and I decided to let the girls see him and pay the crazy amout of money to get their picture taken with him. First, we walk up and notice that the Santa has a lazy eye, if you look close you can see that his eyes both go different directions. Next, Olivia is just at thr start of the red carpet and just starts crying and grabbing at me. Then I sit her on his lap and she calms down but she wont look at him and will not smile. Next is Danicas turn. She is quit at first then we put her on his lap and she just curls into this ball and just starts screaming bloody murder. Her face is so red and white she is scrunching it so had. Pat and I of course are just laghing our asses off. The lady takes the pictures and asks if we want to see it, and I tell her no because it doesnt matter and it is not going to get better. We take the girls off of hus lap and amazingly enough, they are both better. Carzy! So, we wait to get in the car before we look at the picture, and OMG we both bust up laghing harder than I think we ever have before. It is the perfect first picture of the girls with Santa!

Family Pictures!
It is finally time for family pictures. It is always such an ordeal. We get the girls there and they look cute, the the lady has to take a phone call that takes 10 minutes. By the time she gets back Danica has torn her head band out and Olivia is trying to strangle Danica. You would think that it would get easier as they get older but it doesnt. But we did get some great pictures!
Sisters!
These pictures were taken a while ago, and finally made it to the blog. My girls are so cute together. Their new thing is that they always have to hold each others hand. Even when we just get out of the car, Danica walks over and waits for Olivia to get out of the car to hold her hand. Danica is such a good little sister. It is like she already knows that her big sister needs her help and she is there for her. She is always looking out for Olivia. She brings Olivia her sippy when she cant get up to get it, she shares her food with her, and after we drop Olivia off at school, Danica runs around the house yelling sissy, sissy. I could not have been blessed with two cuter kids!
Fun in the tub!
Last night was bath time in the Spencer household. It is the girls favorite time. When I give them a bath it is always just in and out, but when dad gives thema bath, it is every wall, everybody get wet kind of thing. They have such a good time, and they both love to fight over who gets to hold the shower head!
St. George
A couple of weeks ago the girls and I went to Grandma and Grandpas house in St George and had such a blast. We went to the park and they had the coolest play ground. Danica didnt even want to wait for help to go up and down the slide, she just did it all on her own. Olivia was a little unsure at first, but then she decided that she loved it. The was a couple of times that the girls were fighting to get up the steps first and Danica cheated by pulling on sisters shirt to get ahead of her. They are so cute. The park also had a little man made creek. The water was a little chilly but it was 75 degrees outside so they didnt notice. We tried to roll up their pants so that they wouldnt get all wet and as you can see, the was pointless, they both got drenched. It was well worth it, they had much fun, and I think that grandma and grandpa had as much fun as they did. After the creek, we stripped the girls down to nothing to dry out and had some lunch. Right now Olivia is all about her nipples, she just cant get enough of them. Danica is all about the peepee. She tried to feed it a cheeto and totally grossed my dad out. But she thinks that whatever she likes, her peepee will like. Hopefully these are both just a faze.

Gods Plans!
So, today I am felling a little down. Sometimes dont you just wish that you knew what Gods plans were? Today I am wondering just that. I know that he picked Olivia just for us and made us wait for her. I know that he picked Danica just for us and made us wait for her, then gave her to us when we didnt even know it. But what are his other plans? I watch the people around me live their lives as God had intended it to be, and I think, what about me? I feel so grateful for the loving husband that I have, and the two beautiful miracle girls that I have, and yet I wonder if this is what my road is. Is this it? I feel like I have been trying and reaching for things that I am now unsure if they are to be mine. I feel like I have been putting my life on hold for this one little thing. Today, I think that it has just hit me like a ton of bricks. I think that this is exactly what God had intended for me. This is the road that I am to travel with my husband and two little girls. If God had other plans for me then, he wouldnt make it so hard for me. Today I have decided that I need to start living my life and not putting it on hold for one silly little thing. I have everything that I have ever wanted and more. I need to start being more grateful for the things that God has given me instead of wishing for the things that are not meant to be mine. Today I start a new and happier me. I know that my life is complete now and I will start enjoying every minute of it. I am lucky to have people in my life that understand me and have the patience to help me through my hard times. Thank you so much for still being my friends. I promise that today is my change day, and I will be a better person, for you, for my family and for me.

30!
My loving husband is turing 30 tomorrow, and I think that I am more devastated by it than he is. That just means that I am only a couple of months away from being old too. He had such a good time at the party, I think it was the perfect way to end his twenties. We have been together through our teens, twenties and now I am looking forward to spending my thirties with him.
PARTY!!!!!!!!
So now I finally got the pictures up from the party. We had such a good time. We finally rolled the last person out about 4 am, thats right 4 am. We were all zombies by then. The party was great. We had plenty of food and plenty of alcohol. We had wars with beer pong and lots of loud music with rock band. The cleanup was not so bad, just picking up all of the swamp fog and finding all of the beer cans. We only ended up with one broken kitchen chair and a dent in the living room wall, and Jamies skirt catching of fire, but with all the people that came, in think that is ok. Sunday when we were cleaning up, we found Erics lost snake tangled in the rose bushes and a few piles of pewk on the lawn. Pat had a great time, and I can say for the first time that he actually drank himself into oblivian, and was sick all day Sunday. I just sat and smiled knowing that wasnt me throwing up and feeling like crap. But we were exhausted and the girls didnt get much attention on Sunday due to lack of sleep for mom and dad. I wanted to thank everyone that came, in support of Pats birthday, and for coming for a good time.
Halloween!
Today we went to Gardner Village and took the girls pictures in their costumes. They looked so cute! It was a little bit cold so we had to do it fast. Danica as you can see was a little bit scared of the witch she was sitting next to, but Olivia thought that she was very cool. Olivia loved her costume, she liked to look at herself in the mirror and twirl around because she liked the hoop on her skirt. Danica didnt know what to think about hers. But she loved the flower hat and wouldnt let us take it off till we got home.
Field Trip
On Wednesday we went o Discovery Gateway Museum for Olivias school fieldtrip and we decided to make it a family event. The girls had so much fun. Olivia had a great time, she LOVED the big horse and didnt want to get off of it. Danica was totally in her element running amuck. She was everywhere. It was a good thing that Pat took off of work and came with us because it was a two person job for both of the girls!

Pumkin time!
So today we went over to my mom and dads house to carve pumpkins with the girls. Needless to say, they were'nt really sure about it. First they ddint like to feel of the guts, then they both just wanted to eat the pieces that we cut out. It was definantly a collaborative effort getting them done. It was really interesting to see the different ideas between me, pat, my mom dad. So, from right to left, grandpas, mine ( the oh face), grandmas, then pats. We had a really good time and can't wait to see them lit up tonight!

Baby Time!
I have to just put a little note in here. My best friend is about to embark on the impossible. Becky is almost due with her third baby. THREE!!! I can't believe it. I am so excited for her and cant wait to meet baby Anna. I know that things get a little tuff on her and especially after the baby, it gets really tuff, but she knows that I will be there for her in every way that I can, and that I love her. Beck, I am on count down with you only 38 days and counting, OMG!
My Girls...
I have to tell you about my girls. Pat and I are joke that Olivia got all of the good in us and that Danica got all of the bad. They are so different from each other. Olivia is so good natured and easy going and Danica is well, Danica. She is difficult and obstinant in every way. She cries, wines, throughs fits like would not beleive. But then she is smiley and funny and always makes you smile. We are so blessed to have them both, and so lucky to have someone for Olivia to play with bully and love. I know that Danica will always take care of Olivia, and that is why god decided to givbe her to us. Pat and I are blessed in so many ways, not only to have each other, but to have two beautiful girls that were meant to be in our lives.
Lagoon Day!
We had Lagoon Day with Pats work, and so we loaded up the whole family and went. we took my mom and dad so that when the girls were done, they could take them home and pat and I could stay and enjoy the big kids rides. The girls absolutly LOVED it. Danica thought it was the coolest thing. We hit all of the kids rides. Olivia went on all of them and liked them all, and Danica went on most of them. There were a few that went a little to fast for her and she was holding on to sister dear life. They both made it from about 10 am to 2 pm then Danica crashed. We had such a good day! Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed themselves also. I think that grandpa would have stayed longer and rode some the big rides, but his job was to take care of the kids, so maybe next time granpa.
Bath Time!
So, this is bath time at our house. Pat gives them the bath, then I am supposed to get them dressed and ready for the night. But tonight, Pat decided to blow dry their hair. Danicas hair looks like she stuck her finger in the wall socket and Olivia doesnt have much hair to stick up anyways. I did yet at him because I knew that I would never get Danicas hair to lay down in the morning to get ready for the day, so i told him that I would call him home to get her ready. He promptly wet the brush down and made her presentable.
Fun at the Circus
So, we went to the circus with my mom and dad and had a blast. Danica was totally in awe for about the first 45 min. then it got kind of old for her. Olivia thought that the elephants were very cool. We had a great time, but it seemed like they didnt bring out the animas until the second half of the show and by then the kids were kranky and ready to go home, so it was hard to keep their attention. We had a great time and cant wait to go next year.

Vacation
Now I know that most you who know us the best, know that Pat would never get in the water. But, he actually did. We went river rafting in single man kiaks. It was a 20 mile and 4 hour ride down the rapids. My dad actally went with us and fell out 2 times and had to pull out because he was so exhausted. We had to much fun. Pat really did me proud. We had a great time with my parents. We did alot of fishin. Pat did fly fishing, and my dad and I bait fished, but alas, I did catch the most fish. The girls had a blast. They spent alot of time with grandma which neither of them minded. We were sad to come home but really ready to be home. Now it is back to the grindstone and back to a long work week for both of us.
